A lady bought a house without her husband knowing about it and ask a friend to stay there, and this friend knew, that the husband doesn’t know about the house, because she had a home with the husband and they have kids. After a few years the lady passed on and the husband knew about the house after the funeral, going through his wife things. He went to court, as the lady didn’t want to move out, she said, she bought the house from the deceased, but couldn’t show proof of sale and now the case is dragging for a few years and i’m worried about the tenure act.
Now my question is,
1. Why is the case dragging, while the lady cannot show, that she bought the house.
2. Will the tenure act, be in favour of the lady, if she has stayed more than ten years.
3. what can the husband do for recourse.
